The District of Columbia Housing Authority (DCHA) Office of Administrative Services is committed to providing equal opportunity for all business enterprises to participate in the procurement activities of needed services, supplies and equipment.

DCHA and its contractors provide job training and employment opportunities to eligible low-income individuals in Washington, D.C. In addition, DCHA also offers training and support for low-income clients who are seeking employment opportunities.

Under DCHA’s Section 3 program, and pursuant to HUD requirements, DCHA requires its contractors and their subcontractors to make employment and other economic opportunities generated by certain HUD financial assistance, to the greatest extent feasible, and consistent with applicable laws and regulations, available to low- and very low-income persons and businesses, particularly DCHA participants.
