The DC Housing Authority (DCHA) welcomed more than a hundred DCHA residents and voucher participants to two events in April that offered opportunities for attendees to hone their resumes, prepare for potential job interviews and meet employers who are actively recruiting.
On April 29, DCHA hosted the Section 3: Job Resources and Hiring Fair at the EnVision Center in Southwest DC where attendees could meet recruiters from more than a dozen employers.
Ahead of the Job Resources and Hiring Fair, DCHA offered Career Day at the EnVision Center on April 21. During Career Day, attendees reviewed and refined their resumes, practiced responses to common interview questions, and took part in mock interviews. Attendees also chose from a professional attire closet.
DCHA extends its thanks to the participating employers:
RSC | V&V Construction | Kovais | Mo Construction | Vigil | Sandow | Padula | E Landscape | MCM Build | JAP Construction | JLT Trucking | DEO-Barry Farms
