Elections for Resident Commissioner on the District of Columbia Housing Authority's Board of Commissioners will be held this fall and DCHA is currently seeking candidates.

Resident Commissioner elections will be held on September 10 and 11. To learn more about the process and the duties of the three Resident Commissioners on DCHA's Board of Commissioner, attend the informational meeting scheduled for your property. There will be information about the election process, how to run for office, and how to become a polling site monitor. There are informational meetings at each property (click here to see the list). For residents who can’t attend the regularly scheduled meeting, an additional meeting open to DCHA residents from all properties is scheduled to take place at Sibley Plaza, 1140 North Capitol St., N.W. at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 13, 2018.

Residents requiring ASL interpretation or translation services for their property’s informational meeting must notify the ITPM no later than 72 hours before their informational meeting via (301) 637-3635 or Info@ResidentParticipation.com.
