HOUSING AUTHORITY BEGINS NEW YEAR WITH NEW LEADERS
In 2012, the DCHA Leadership Academy was introduced as an enrichment option for employees. The Leadership Academy is a totally voluntary program, is designed to increase efficiency in and understanding of the affordable housing industry.
The program is serious business for DCHA employees. Those who chose to participate agree to 64 hours of classroom time, homework, presentations and team building activities.
In return they gain not only a wealth of knowledge, but also get to interact with colleagues with whom they might otherwise not work, in a way that is designed to promote cooperative success.
