It was a packed house at DCHA’s first Vendor Forecast Event held October 18 at the Kellogg Conference Center at Gallaudet University. The DCHA Office of Administrative Services invited existing and potential DCHA vendors to hear about upcoming solicitations and contract opportunities. Stephen Green, Director of the Office of Capital Programs previewed redevelopment and construction projects, while Administrative Services staff discussed contract compliance, workforce development and Section 3 requirements. The two-hour event also provided an opportunity for small and minority businesses from the District to network with DCHA’s large contractors and discuss subcontracting prospects. The successful program will be repeated annually.
