REVISED - DCHA 2012 MOVING TO WORK PLAN AND AGREEMENT AMENDMENT - PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

The District of Columbia Housing Authority (DCHA) is rescheduling the Public Hearing to discuss and solicit comments on the agency’s proposed 2012 Moving to Work (MTW) Plan Initiatives and Amendment to Attachment D of the Restated and Amended MTW Agreement. The new hearing date is Monday, June 27, 2011 at 6:00pm at 1133 North Capitol Street, NE in the 2nd floor Board Room. The MTW program is a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program that allows select public housing authorities to design and implement innovative programs and policies with the intent to 1) reduce costs and improve efficiencies; 2) encourage residents to obtain employment and become economically self-sufficient; and 3) increase housing choices for low-income families. Written comments on the proposed plan initiatives can be submitted via e-mail prior by June 24, 2011 to MTW2012Plan@dchousing.org or by mail to Adrianne Todman, Executive Director, DCHA 1133 North Capitol Street, NE, Suite 200, Washington, DC 20002.
