During his lengthy public housing leadership involvement, Commissioner Watson helped to begin the city-wide Resident Advisory Board. Having served six years as the President of the Harvard Towers Resident Council, Mr. Watson is also an ordained minister. His ministry is focused upon assisting all people in his community in their time of need.

Mr. Watson received training in assisting the needy while working with the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). He used this training to help distribute humanitarian aid through Caribbean governments to people affected by natural disasters. He has also worked locally with the District government helping people who require assistance after natural disasters.
